The Artist:

Born in Upstate New York to parents from opposite coasts, Andrew Morris Gilman grew up in Oklahoma City where he nurtured a wide range of interests, from drawing and sports, to piano, stop-motion home movies, theater, and exploring the in's and out's of AOL and Napster during the the internet's early infancy. His formative years were marked by imagination and a creative curiosity that spanned a variety of fields, setting the stage for the discovery of an evolving sense of self.

At the age of 22, backed by the encouragement of close friends and the compassion of his family, Andrew sought professional mental health support. Though his path toward healing and self-learning has not been spared of occasional challenge, his determination and diligence — alongside the unwavering solidarity of his trusted inner circle — have allowed him to take bold risks, try new things, and build stronger and more meaningful relationships with himself and those around him through many years since.

Andrew's life as a writer and an artist began again after settling in Norman, Oklahoma in 2022, where he is currently based.
